Application tools
Every competition below opens a workspace holding its real question set, the published word limit on each answer, and what the assessors are told to look for. Your draft stays in your browser.
Nothing here is written for you. UKRI’s policy forbids generating an application, or any section of one, without human involvement. What these tools do is hold the structure, count the words and show you the criteria.
Opening a workspace is free. So is the funder’s half of what is in it.
PricingThe questions, the word limits and the assessment criteria are the funder’s own and cost nothing. An application pass — £199, once, for a single competition — adds the pre-sift check on your draft and a wording pass over answers you have already written. A grant consultancy charges from £3,500 plus 7 to 12% of the award.
UKRI publishes each question with its word limit and what the assessors are told to look for, but does not say which questions are scored. So these workspaces show the criteria and the counts, and make no claim about scoring.
